Orthopedics and Traumatology is a specialization which deals with the musculoskeletal system (muscles, tendons and bones).

It includes acute problems arising from injuries (fractures, dislocations, strains and sprains) as well as chronic conditions like arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, back- neck problems, sciatic pain etc..

If the medical condition falls outside the Orthopedic field, patients will be referred to the specialized physician.
